The
hard work has paid off and we are finally staring through the looking
glass at the first instalment of the 2020 Landsborough State School
Musical Video Production of Alice in Wonderland Jr. While it was
disappointing that we were unable to perform on stage for our community,
we used our ingenuity and grit to create the next best thing for you.
Using our newly painted green screen and our student’s artistic skill
and expression, we have been able to create a world of wonder for our
musical to be, in true 2020 spirit, presented in a Virtual Wonderland of
fun and adventure!
The link in the newsletter will send you to a folder, which will be updated over the next year with new instalments of the musical as they become available.
Please feel free to download the files for your own use, or to share
with a relative, but please refrain from sharing on social media or
uploading it to any video sharing sites as that will breach the
copyright laws.
Should
you be unable to download or access these files, you can drop a USB off
at the office with your name on it and the currently available files
will be downloaded onto it for you.
We
will be debuting each new instalment on parade and then uploading it to
this same folder. Check back in each Newsletter to see if a new
instalment is available, or ask your child after parade if they have seen the new instalment.
A big thanks to Sarah Johnston for her fabulous Crochet work, Larry our Groundsman for painting our green screen (twice), the cleaners for cleaning up after our rehearsals and recordings and Kylie Holzigal for steering the ship throughout term 2. Much appreciated! Oh and the cast would also like to thank their parents and carers for helping organise costumes and for picking them up late on Wednesdays.
Enjoy the musical and have a very merry unbirthday!
